Cerberus Banking Trojan is Spreading throughout Compromised MDM Servers

Threat actors keep coming up with new ways to conduct fraud against individuals and organizations for making their own profit. They usually attempt to enlarge the scope of their attacks for maximum benefit, infecting as many victims as possible by using malware and stealing extremely sensitive information. This week, security researchers uncovered a sophisticated cyber-attack, where threat actors compromised a company’s Mobile Device Manager (MDM) server and launched the Cerberus banking trojan on almost all the company-owned Android devices.
