We are seeking a seasoned Google Cloud Architect to join our CTO office. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in defining and architecting our CyberProof solution, focusing on Google Cloud, Google Chronicle SIEM, and Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) technologies. This role is ideal for someone passionate about leveraging cloud security to protect enterprises at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of our CyberProof solution using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Chronicle SIEM, and SOAR technologies.
  • Collaborate with the CTO and cybersecurity teams to define technical strategies and roadmaps for cloud security.
  • Ensure the architecture is scalable, resilient, and aligned with industry best practices and compliance standards.
  • Guide the integration of cloud security tools and processes into the existing SOC and security infrastructure.
  • Conduct technical evaluations, proof of concepts, and pilot implementations to validate technology choices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to architecture designs, decisions, and operational procedures.
  • Provide expertise and mentorship to team members on cloud security, architecture best practices, and technological advancements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats, technologies, and industry trends to incorporate into our cyberproof solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Professional Cloud Architect and Professional Cloud Security Engineer certifications from Google.
  • Proven experience in architecting, deploying, and managing solutions on the Google Cloud Platform, including expertise with Google Chronicle SIEM and SOAR technologies.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Demonstrable experience with SOC modernization projects and cloud-native security architectures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure Sentinel and other SIEM/SOAR platforms.
  • Professional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and data protection laws relevant to cloud security.
