Last week, researchers reported a new Go-based information stealer named Aurora. The stealer has become increasingly popular among cybercriminals because of its advanced stealing and exfiltrating capabilities. Moreover, Qbot was observed using new techniques allowing them initial access to victim networks, the ability to move laterally in their environment, and eventually deploy the Black Basta ransomware.
