Service Delivery Manager

About the Position

The Service Delivery Manager has overall responsibility for all implementation of service operations. This role will also be the functional manager for the offshore and nearshore supervisors, as well as the local teams and the Transition/Transformation Manager.

What You Will be Doing

  • Create provisioning plan with the Transition/Transformation Manager, and coordinate scheduling with the Project Manager
  • Detail resource requirements for provisioning (log ingestion activities, platform and systems tuning, report generation, on-site staffing for hardware and systems deployment, etc)
  • Deploy Platforms, Systems and Technology required for services fulfilment
  • Configure service components and ensure remote SOC visibility into service systems
  • Tune local systems and validate that customer acceptance criteria are met
  • Perform customer acceptance testing in partnership with designated customer personnel
  • Documentation of “as built” design
  • Ensure effective service operation for the life of the contract
  • Ensure customer training for relevant service platforms
  • Manage the Continuous Improvement Program
  • Delivery to customer of operational playbooks

Skills

  • Proven abilities to manage complex technical projects
  • Proven ability to manage long-term communication with customer’s senior levels as well as technical levels
  • Experience working in security roles or in technical managerial positions in security companies
  • Advanced experience in cybersecurity
  • Broad knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and applications, security systems including: SIEM systems, firewalls, IPSs, end point security systems, EDRs, WAFs, etc.
  • Well-organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong sense of customer commitment
