Security Services Developer

Location: France

About the Position

As a security services developer you will be responsible for the implementation of all internal processes of security service development.

What You Will be Doing

  • Conduct regular review of security software and technology licenses and validate usage as per vendor contracts and follow-up on anomalies
  • Escalate to Head of Security Service Management and other senior stakeholders on outstanding license issues
  • Collaborate with service management operational teams and identify need for addition or reduction of licenses
  • Collaborate with Change Management Specialist to ensure change and impact to licenses is addressed as part of change management
  • Collaborate with Service Development Lead to co-relate license usage and Service finance/budget cost allocation
  • Research and gather vendor licensing model information and provide support to Group procurement on contract negotiation and advice on suitable license models for client
  • Collaborate with Service Development Lead to develop and maintain metrics to monitor performance and capacity of the security service metrics
  • Work with operational teams to help regularly generate and report on the performance and capacity metrics
  • Collaborate with Service Development Lead and develop a management information report to provide a weekly/monthly/quarterly trend on performance and capacity metrics and recommendations to improve service capacity


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
  • ITIL v3 certified to at least Foundation level
  • Working knowledge of ITIL Service Management concepts and processes, including incident management, change management, problem management, service request management, configuration management
  • Experience in a multi-national, shared services environment, including clear customer service and resolution of escalated issues
  • Experience in delivery processes, including lifecycle controls (e.g. Design, Pilot, Acceptance) and Project Management
  • Overall experience in Information Security
  • Experience in the service management of a security operations centre
  • Fluent in English

Additional Skills

  • MSc in Information Security desirable
  • Information Security and/or Information Technology industry certification (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC or equivalent)
  • Cross cultural sensitivity, flexibility
  • Organized with a proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and utilize time effectively
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, works effectively as a team player
  • Ability to function effectively in a matrix structure
