Pre-Sales Engineer

Location: Germany

About the Position

Pre-sales engineer is the primary technical focal point for the Sales department. The pre-sales engineers will be responsible for actively driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and solution advocate for our managed security services and platform.

What You Will be Doing

  • Manage and coordinate any technical requirements in the sales process
  • Act as a trusted advisor for both customers and prospects
  • Perform business and technical needs discovery, technical demonstrations of the products and solutions both Face to Face and via WebEx Sessions
  • Responsible for presenting the solutions to prospects at trade shows and seminars
  • Able to carry out RFI/Ps
  • Convey Customers requirements to product management teams
  • Ability to carry POCs


  • Proven experience as a sales engineer within the cyber security sector having work previously for a Managed Security Provider or a Security solution vendor
  • Proven enterprise experience working with c-level executives and technical security experts
  • Knowledge of either SOC operations, End Point Protection, Managed Detection Response, Threat Hunting or SIEM solutions
  • In-depth knowledge of overall security industry trends and product solutions
  • Ability to travel across the region
